HSE Supervisor

About the role

The HSE Supervisor will coordinate the implementation of AMHEC safety programs, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff on‑site. You will support managers, supervisors and employees in executing tasks safely while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Create HSE alerts, conduct PPE awareness training and toolbox talks.
• Inspect work sites regularly to identify hazards, report unsafe acts, near‑misses and initiate corrective actions.
• Support internal HSE audits, maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Prepare site visit reports, attend client HSE meetings and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations.
• Lead investigations of incidents, determine root causes and assign corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training plans for AMHEC employees.
• Manage and develop the HSE team, including performance appraisals and succession planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in oil & gas or heavy equipment industry.
• Relevant HSE certification (NEBOSH General, NVQ/NQF Level 5 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE legislation and ISO 14001/45001 standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
