HSE Supervisor – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking an HSE Supervisor to lead health, safety and environmental compliance for its CIL plant and refining facilities in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Engineering & Projects Manager, the role is pivotal in fostering a zero‑harm culture while supporting gold refining and bullion production projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify PPE use, housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Administer the Permit‑to‑Work system for high‑risk activities, ensuring isolation, gas testing and safety controls are in place.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and evaluate contractor HSE performance, ensuring adherence to SGR safety standards.
• Deliver mandatory HSE inductions and safety training for new hires and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources regulations and Civil Defence requirements.
• Organise and lead emergency drills, including fire evacuations and chemical spill responses.
• Prepare HSE reports, maintain analytics and support continuous improvement.
