HVAC Engineer – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the role

DAAD Global LLC is looking for a technically strong HVAC Engineer to lead the execution of HVAC projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will manage the full project lifecycle from design review through testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring projects meet specifications, schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Review HVAC drawings, specifications and BOQs, verify heat‑load calculations, equipment selection and duct/pipe sizing using AutoCAD.
• Prepare and manage technical submittals, shop drawings and as‑built documents, responding to consultant comments.
• Support procurement by preparing material take‑offs, comparing supplier quotations and coordinating deliveries.
• Plan site execution, set weekly targets, coordinate with civil, electrical and plumbing trades, and control variations.
• Supervise testing, pressure and vacuum testing, air balancing, and prepare T&C reports, O&M manuals and handover documents.
• Track progress, prepare monthly reports, monitor costs against budget and submit weekly structured reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC execution experience.
• Hands‑on experience with VRF, split/ducted, packaged and chilled‑water systems.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE and SMACNA standards.
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
