Income Auditor & Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Income Auditor and Accounts Receivable professional to ensure the integrity of all revenue streams and receivables for our hotel. The role involves rigorous audit procedures, financial controls, and compliance oversight within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Audit daily credit card transactions and ensure compliance with established protocols.
• Test bar and restaurant cashier reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and analyze guest ledger high‑balance reports to identify discrepancies.
• Oversee general cashier operations, daily cash drops, and prepare daily income packets with supporting documentation.
• Audit and reconcile Food & Beverage interface transactions between the Opera system and back‑office accounting systems.
• Verify hotel commission calculations and manage invoicing schedules.
• Provide oversight of banquet, group, and convention billing to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Investigate unidentified cash and charge discrepancies and reconcile unapplied advance deposits.
• Monitor daily posting of charges and cash receipts, prepare trial balance reports, and reconcile with the general ledger.
• Prepare month‑end financial summaries, including travel agent and credit card commissions.

Required profile

• Saudi national (as indicated by the posting).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience in hotel finance, income auditing, or accounts receivable preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera property management system.
• Knowledge of financial auditing and accounts receivable processes.
