Information Technology Administrator

About the role

The Information Technology Administrator is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Eastern Province. You will manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure—including servers, networks, end‑user devices and business applications—ensuring reliable performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software components.
• Perform regular backups, apply updates and security patches.
• Provide first‑line technical support, diagnose and resolve incidents, and escalate when necessary.
• Assist with network configuration, access management and asset documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in IT best practices, security awareness and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting of hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Hands‑on system administration experience, including user account management, OS configuration, backups and patch management.
• Practical network administration skills such as basic routing, switching, Wi‑Fi configuration and network performance monitoring.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as ticketing systems, monitoring solutions, antivirus and endpoint‑management platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on‑site in the Eastern Province handling multiple, time‑sensitive tasks.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
