Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist will provide day‑to‑day technical support for staff, maintain computer systems, and ensure reliable network operations for the Saudi Heritage Preservation Society. This full‑time, on‑site position in Riyadh involves installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software while supporting digital tools used in heritage projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and update hardware and software across the organization.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity incidents.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and enforce IT and security policies.
• Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, perform basic firewall management, and ensure network security compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and support.
• Document IT procedures and provide user training and support.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience in enterprise IT environments and network administration.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work on‑site in Riyadh, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a multicultural, mission‑driven setting.
