Instructor Pilot – Basic Training on PC-21

About the role

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Instructor Pilot (Basic) to join its training team in Al-Majmaah, Saudi Arabia. You will deliver flight instruction on the PC‑21 aircraft to Royal Saudi Air Force cadets, ensuring they meet the required training syllabi.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct instructional flight missions for cadets in accordance with RSAF training syllabi.
• Report to the Head of Flying (KFAA) and maintain accurate flight logs and training records.
• Ensure safety standards are met during all flight and ground activities.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to develop cadet proficiency.

Required profile

• Current or former military flying instructor with an RAF A2 instructor qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1,500 total flight hours, including at least 800 hours on fixed‑wing aircraft.
• At least 400 hours of basic flight instructional experience.
• Maximum age of 51 at the time of contract.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with Saudi cadets.
