Instrument & Control System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Instrument & Control System Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of our plant’s control and instrumentation assets. The role involves troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and developing procedures to ensure optimal performance of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support for maintenance activities of control systems and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation problems and coordinate with vendors for spares and services.
• Analyze performance of instrumentation systems and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain calibration and maintenance procedures in line with engineering principles and safety regulations.
• Witness and test newly installed control systems and instruments to verify compliance with vendor specifications.
• Participate in vendor contract preparation and review spare part requirements.
• Record and analyze instrument failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and propose long‑term solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis for Yokogawa and Emerson process control units, and review SCADA, ESD and DCS designs.
• Lead pre‑commissioning, commissioning and field‑testing activities, and produce technical reports.

Required profile

• Experience in maintenance and support of industrial control and instrumentation systems.
• Ability to develop procedures, conduct training and work closely with operations teams.
• Strong analytical skills for performance analysis and failure investigation.
• Familiarity with vendor liaison and spare‑part management.
