Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will conduct routine and complex audits across SATORP’s operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies, Saudi Arabian regulations, and industry best practices. Working under the General Auditor, you will help strengthen internal controls and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop audit plans, define scopes, and execute audits in line with SATORP policies.
• Participate in risk assessments to identify audit priorities.
• Prepare draft findings and recommendations for review by senior audit staff.
• Assess compliance of business processes with internal policies and Saudi laws.
• Report control weaknesses, non‑conformities, and suggest corrective actions.
• Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary information and reviewing their reports.
• Stay updated on auditing methodologies, statistical sampling, and electronic data processing tools.
• Pursue professional development and relevant certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of audit experience, preferably in a public accounting or internal audit environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CFE.
• Working knowledge of Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.
