Inventory Control Executive - Commercial Vehicles

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is looking for an experienced Parts Inventory Control Executive to join its FAMCO team in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures optimal parts availability across assigned franchises while keeping inventory levels, stock value and obsolescence within agreed targets. It supports business operations through inventory planning, stock control, logistics management and customer order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory control parameters to ensure optimum stock availability.
• Review system-generated order proposals and recommend adjustments.
• Monitor critical inventory reports and take corrective action on stock issues.
• Manage backorders and coordinate with principals and logistics providers to expedite deliveries.
• Process customer orders accurately and give delivery updates.
• Control stock aging and obsolescence, and coordinate buy-back and disposal of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Optimize logistics and freight costs through shipment planning and consolidation.
• Handle warranty and inventory claims with principals and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Maintain accurate parts master data, pricing and supplier records.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or diploma in a technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or inventory operations within a reputable automotive dealership.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting Commercial Vehicle and Construction Equipment businesses.
• Hands-on experience in inventory control, procurement, logistics and stock management.

Required skills

• Experience with Syncron inventory systems; SAP ERP experience is an advantage.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
