Investment Director – Remote (Global)

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm managing a diversified portfolio across alternative strategies and direct investments. The Investment Director will lead research, drive the end‑to‑end investment process and work closely with senior leadership to enhance analytical excellence and portfolio operations. This is a high‑autonomy, research‑intensive position for a seasoned professional with deep market knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence: source, screen and evaluate opportunities across strategies and geographies, assess performance, risk metrics and team capabilities.
• Coordinate the due‑diligence lifecycle: collaborate with internal teams, maintain trackers, ensure timely updates and synthesize findings into investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macro research and market analysis: monitor macroeconomic data, central bank policies and geopolitical developments, develop scenario analyses and provide actionable insights to inform portfolio positioning.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management (research, portfolio management or institutional allocation).
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research and written communication abilities.
• Proven project coordination skills in multi‑stakeholder investment environments.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Bloomberg terminal proficiency.
• Familiarity with additional programming tools such as R or SQL (preferred).
