IT Help Desk Support (1-2 years experience)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Help Desk Support professional to provide first‑line technical assistance to end users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via phone, email, remote tools or in‑person.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, printers and network connectivity.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware, peripheral devices and operating systems.
• Set up user accounts, email accounts and access permissions.
• Apply software updates, security patches and maintain Microsoft 365 applications.
• Log, track and resolve tickets within agreed service levels.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions and IT assets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT Help Desk or technical support.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and ticketing systems.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
