IT Planning Specialist

About the role

The King Salman International Airport is looking for an IT Planning Specialist to support the development and execution of technology strategies, governance frameworks, enterprise architecture initiatives, and smart technology programmes. The role will help shape the airport’s long‑term digital transformation and ensure alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Research and assess emerging technology trends, innovations and industry best practices.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technology governance policies, standards and frameworks.
• Assist in developing technology strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Participate in capacity planning, resource forecasting and technology audits.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture activities, including reviews, blueprints and assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate solutions and integrate architecture initiatives.
• Support smart technology planning, digital transformation projects and predictive analytics.
• Help define KPIs and performance measurement frameworks for technology services.
• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging technologies and innovation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT strategy, technology planning, enterprise architecture or digital transformation; fresh graduates with relevant internships or projects are welcome.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
