IT Support Specialist II (On‑site) – Riyadh

About the role

Veeam is looking for an on‑site IT Support Specialist II to join its Riyadh office. You will be the first point of contact for office staff, handling everyday IT issues, managing hardware assets, and supporting remote users when local demand is low.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for IT requests via walk‑ins, tickets, email, or chat.
• Tri­age, prioritize, resolve, and, when needed, escalate Service Desk tickets within SLA targets.
• Support end‑user hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, and AV equipment.
• Distribute, receive, and inspect devices, run basic diagnostics, coordinate repairs, and maintain accurate asset and license records.
• Set up equipment and accounts for new hires and deactivate them when staff leave.
• Administer user accounts across multiple systems, especially Active Directory.
• Provide remote assistance to off‑site users using remote‑access and diagnostic tools.
• Keep the Service Desk knowledge base up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Service Desk or desktop‑support role, preferably in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Active Directory account management (creation, password reset, unlocking, distribution lists).
• Experience with ticketing systems for incident tracking.
• Hardware asset management and basic device diagnostics.
• Remote‑access and diagnostic tools for off‑site support.
