Joinery Factory General Manager

About the role

The company operates a specialist joinery factory in Riyadh and is expanding from internal contracting to external projects. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of the factory, drive operational excellence, and ensure financial and customer‑focused performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the factory’s strategic direction, aligning short‑ and long‑term goals with overall company growth.
• Oversee day‑to‑day production, quality, delivery schedules and financial targets through effective resource planning.
• Implement and continuously improve processes, systems and procedures to boost productivity, reduce waste and support commercial expansion.
• Lead quality assurance, health‑safety and regulatory compliance across all operations.
• Manage budgeting, capital expenditure, cost control and profitability, identifying margin‑improvement opportunities.
• Develop new business opportunities, build client relationships and position the factory for third‑party projects.
• Recruit, develop and motivate a high‑performing management and operational team.
• Collaborate with marketing to strengthen the factory’s brand and promote bespoke joinery services.
• Introduce advanced manufacturing technologies such as CNC machining, 3D modeling and sustainable materials.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing or construction‑related production environments.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of driving growth and operational efficiency.
• Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness.
• Ability to build and lead multidisciplinary teams.
