Junior Machine Operator

About the role

PepsiCo is looking for a Junior Machine Operator to join its production team. The role focuses on running the process line and equipment efficiently, meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and control processing equipment to convert raw materials into finished products.
• Gather hourly process control data, conduct quality wall meetings, and record daily material usage.
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and food‑safety standards on the production floor.
• Monitor and report energy consumption (water, electricity, gas) and work to minimize waste.
• Manage assigned process workers, ensuring good manufacturing practices are followed.
• Make decisions to maximize yield and conversion, including stopping production when specifications are not met, in consultation with the Laboratory Technician.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment to sustain line efficiency.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail for data collection and quality monitoring.
• Effective communication with supervisors and team members.
