Junior Unity Developer – Racing Games

About the role

At NJD Games we create racing and drifting titles for the Saudi and Gulf market, including King of Hajwala and Hajwala Corsa series. We are looking for a Junior Unity Developer who is passionate about automotive racing games to join our on‑site development team in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable C# scripts in Unity for gameplay and vehicle control.
• Develop and fine‑tune car physics and drift behavior to achieve realistic, fun handling.
• Integrate 3D car models, ensuring proper rigging, animation and physics setup.
• Optimize game performance on mobile devices – stable FPS, memory management, battery consumption, draw‑call reduction and garbage‑collection minimisation.
• Implement techniques such as object pooling to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with art and QA teams to deliver polished, bug‑free gameplay.
• Test, debug and maintain build quality throughout the release cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 1–2 years of Unity and C# development experience.
• Strong understanding of game physics and vehicle movement mechanics.
• Working knowledge of mobile performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with handling 3D assets inside Unity.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
