Land Surveyor

About the role

KEO International Consultants is seeking a Land Surveyor to join its Saudi Arabia team. The role combines field surveying expertise with strong cost‑control and contract‑management responsibilities, supporting the delivery of construction projects within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the project budget, providing regular cost reports to the client and project team.
• Oversee preparation of procurement documents, tendering processes and contractor selection.
• Implement and manage FIDIC contracts, review contract conditions, handle variations and ensure compliance.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials and labour at all project stages.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including cost reports, payments and contractor claims.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management and the client.
• Assess, evaluate and negotiate project changes, documenting impacts on budget and timeline.
• Identify potential financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the project team to minimise cost overruns and delays.
• Participate in value‑engineering exercises to deliver cost‑effective solutions while maintaining quality.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and consultants, acting as the primary point of contact for financial and contractual matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Diploma in Land Surveying.
• Proven experience in construction cost management and contract administration.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract frameworks.
• Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and financial reports.
