Lead ICT Governance & Technical Oversight for Major Saudi Mixed‑Use Development

About the role

This senior position will lead ICT governance, assurance and technical oversight for a large mixed‑use development in Saudi Arabia, covering sports venues, entertainment facilities and associated infrastructure. You will work closely with consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure high‑quality delivery and integration with broader systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ICT governance, assurance and technical oversight across sports venues and infrastructure.
• Manage consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure aligned, high‑quality delivery.
• Review and approve ICT designs in line with standards, regulations and project objectives.
• Provide technical leadership for networks, cabling, WiFi, VoIP, data centres and cybersecurity.
• Integrate ICT with AV, BMS, security and digital platforms.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning (FAT/SAT) to ensure readiness for handover.
• Support broadcast infrastructure delivery, including OB connectivity and IP media environments.
• Conduct design reviews, audits and milestone approvals from an owner‑side perspective.
• Lead ICT handover, ensuring complete documentation, compliance and operational readiness.
• Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition and manage associated emissions during delivery.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, BICSI); chartership desirable.
• 12+ years’ experience delivering ICT infrastructure on large‑scale or complex programmes.
• Strong client‑side or PMC experience in governance, assurance and delivery oversight.
• Expertise in networks, systems integration, data centres and ICT construction methodologies.
• Working knowledge of broadcast infrastructure and IP‑based media systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in complex environments.
• Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia and experience on high‑value projects for a project‑management consultancy.
