Legal Director

About the role

Webook.com, Saudi Arabia’s leading event ticketing and experience booking platform, is seeking a Legal Director to lead all legal affairs across the organization. The role provides strategic guidance, risk management, and legal oversight to support rapid business growth and ensure compliance across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s overall legal strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Advise the CEO and executive team on legal risks, regulatory requirements, and commercial impact.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, SaaS agreements, NDAs, licensing, employment contracts and SLAs.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international regulations in KSA, UAE, Jordan, Morocco, and the UK.
• Lead company‑wide risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and manage dispute resolution and litigation.
• Oversee entity registrations, renewals, licensing, and manage external counsel.
• Support HR on employment law matters and collaborate with Finance and Business Development on contract structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; LLM is a plus.
• Minimum 10 + years of progressive legal experience, preferably in tech, digital platforms or multinational environments.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with executive leadership, HR, Finance, Operations and Product teams.
