Logistics Engineer

About the role

Join Alstom as a Logistics Engineer and apply your supply chain expertise to cutting‑edge rail projects. You will work closely with suppliers, internal units and construction teams to design efficient warehouse systems and ensure seamless logistics flows.

Key responsibilities

• Design project warehouses that meet operational requirements.
• Define material and information flows at project start.
• Develop and deliver training to enhance team performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise supply‑chain and planning activities.
• Promote a culture of resilience, adaptability and continuous learning within the logistics team.
• Support continuous improvement of logistics processes aligned with business objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience or solid understanding of logistics specifications and supply‑chain processes.
• Knowledge of international and local material‑flow optimisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP, WMS or logistics planning tools.
• Adaptability and resilience in dynamic project environments.
