Logistics Supervisor – AMET Operations

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to lead a team of associates in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. You will ensure daily production targets are met, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assign work to associates and monitor workflow to meet KPIs and production goals.
• Conduct stand‑up briefs, provide feedback, and perform floor audits and vehicle inspections.
• Train, up‑skill, and mentor new team members.
• Track, trend, and report departmental metrics; analyze successes and failures.
• Maintain schedules, hours, and update SOP documents as needed.
• Identify safety hazards and participate in safety initiatives.
• Support flexible shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Required profile

• Experience managing teams in a logistics or warehouse setting.
• Proven ability to work with performance metrics, planning, and process improvement.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including night shifts.
