Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will lead warehouse and inventory operations to ensure cost‑efficient flow, high delivery service, and compliance with safety and quality standards. Reporting to the line manager, you will coordinate with supply planning, replenishment, and external partners to optimise the entire value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial understanding and work within corporate finance frameworks.
• Coordinate with supply planning and replenishment teams to achieve cost‑efficient flow.
• Oversee accurate order processing, handle ad‑hoc warehouse issues, and escalate when needed.
• Manage inventory control, cycle counting, and optimisation to minimise stockouts and excess.
• Ensure master data updates, communicate system errors to IT, and maintain accurate audit records.
• Collaborate on material handling equipment maintenance and warehouse safety procedures.
• Handle product claims, evaluate warehouse capacity utilisation, and select external warehouse partners.
• Guarantee compliance with Arla Foods standards, national regulations, and food‑safety requirements.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs, contribute to financial performance targets, and support digital transformation initiatives.
