Machine Operator – Production Line

About the role

The Machine Operator is responsible for running PepsiCo’s production line and associated equipment in a systematic and efficient manner. The role focuses on meeting production targets while minimizing waste and ensuring food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, control, and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into finished products.
• Gather hourly process control data, conduct quality wall meetings, and maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Alert direct managers to food‑safety hazards and production issues immediately.
• Summarize daily material usage, calculate seasoning and oil efficiencies, and report energy consumption (water, electricity, gas).
• Manage process workers at assigned stations and enforce good manufacturing practices.
• Make decisions to maximize yield and conversion, including stopping production in consultation with the Laboratory Technician when specifications are not met.

Required profile

• Ability to repair and maintain processing equipment to sustain line efficiency.
• Authority to stop production when necessary, in coordination with quality personnel.
• Strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and energy efficiency.
