About the role
The Maintenance Engineer will lead complex engineering projects in a refinery/petrochemical environment, ensuring designs, processes and schedules meet deadlines and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare work schedules and direct design preparation for complex engineering problems.
- Lead proposal development, defining scope, solutions and cost estimates.
- Supervise project execution to align with plans.
- Recommend new installations or modifications to improve facilities.
- Review and consolidate engineering study reports for management decisions.
- Coach and supervise junior engineers to transfer skills and maintain standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Supervisor Engineering and Planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical industry.
- Knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods and design details.
