Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of production and facility equipment in an oil and gas environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support the installation of new machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and operating systems.
• Maintain production and facility equipment to maximize uptime and reduce downtime.
• Clean, inspect, repair, and replace broken parts on machinery.
• Follow the Preventative Maintenance Program and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and ensure proper housekeeping of tools and supplies.
• Coordinate and execute all maintenance tasks, including servicing and repair of facility equipment.
• Track maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Wear appropriate PPE and comply with all company, HSE, and quality policies.
• Fabricate and install new equipment as required.
• Maintain parts and tools inventory.

Required profile

• Minimum two‑year technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience with CNC machines.
