Maintenance/Engineering Technician

About the role

The Maintenance/Engineering Technician is responsible for executing electrical and controls maintenance tasks and engineering work orders in a safe, cost‑effective manner. The role supports line availability and equipment readiness within the plant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned work orders covering all types of electrical and controls maintenance.
• Achieve line availability and equipment readiness targets.
• Follow and review the PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology (PEMM) improvement plan throughout the year.
• Diagnose technical problems, determine required actions and parts, and perform root‑cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Maintain plant equipment according to engineering standards and implement AIB standards.
• Update SAP PM and CM work order statuses.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and EHS management system requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement of EHS controls and hazard mitigation.

Required profile

• Ability to solve technical problems and identify corrective actions.
• Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) processes.
• Familiarity with root‑cause analysis (RCA) techniques.
• Understanding of safety policies and EHS standards.
• Experience working with electrical and controls systems in an industrial setting.
