Manager – Business Applications (Healthcare EMR)

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Manager – Business Applications to lead the governance, delivery and continuous improvement of its Electronic Medical Record (EMR) portfolio. The role spans patient administration, revenue cycle management and health information management, ensuring stable, secure and compliant operations across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the EMR application suite covering PAS, RCM and HIM modules.
• Support and optimise workflows for patient registration, ADT, scheduling, billing, claims and clinical documentation.
• Oversee integrations with LIS, PACS, pharmacy systems, NPHIES, patient portals and medical devices.
• Ensure interoperability using HL7, FHIR and API standards.
• Lead application support, incident management, SLA monitoring, change and release processes.
• Develop and maintain operational, clinical and revenue‑cycle reports, dashboards and KPIs.
• Drive process optimisation, digital transformation and EMR enhancement initiatives.
• Maintain data governance, access management and compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations (PDPL, CBAHI, MOH, CHI, etc.).

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience (84 months) in healthcare IT application management.
• Proven leadership of application analysts and specialists.
• Strong understanding of Saudi healthcare regulations and data‑protection requirements.
• Excellent communication with both IT and business stakeholders.
