Manager – Events & Gallery

About the role

The Manager – Events & Gallery leads refined social, private, cultural and event‑driven Food & Beverage experiences across the resort’s gallery, event and special function spaces. This role blends operational precision with warm, personalized service to meet Rosewood’s ultra‑luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead event, gallery and private‑dining operations in line with Rosewood, Forbes and LQA standards.
• Prepare detailed operational plans covering setup, service flow, staffing, guest requirements and timing.
• Coordinate closely with Events, Culinary, Beverage, Stewarding, Engineering and other support departments.
• Review event orders, guest profiles, VIP requirements, dietary needs and special arrangements before execution.
• Maintain consistency of service sequence, presentation, ambiance and guest engagement.
• Conduct pre‑event briefings and operational walkthroughs to ensure readiness.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and discretion.
• Control operating equipment, furniture, linen, collateral, menus, displays and presentation standards.
• Support revenue awareness through premium offerings, upselling and resource control.
• Train and coach associates on event service, private‑dining etiquette and VIP handling.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of Food & Beverage experience, including management in luxury hotels, resorts, events or private‑dining operations.
• Strong background in luxury events, high‑end banqueting, private dining, gallery‑style service or VIP hospitality.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage detailed preparation and precise execution.
• Ability to manage high‑profile guests and sensitive service situations with discretion.
• Hands‑on leadership style with strong communication skills.
• Commercial awareness of revenue, cost control, equipment management and resource planning.
• Pre‑opening or ultra‑luxury resort experience is highly preferred.
