Manufacturing Specialist 1 – Material Planning & Execution

About the role

The Manufacturing Specialist 1 will be responsible for planning and scheduling the materials needed to execute business operations in Dammam. You will work closely with sales, commercial, regional teams, AMO and supply chain to translate demand into physical orders and ensure timely delivery to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional sales and operations to create 12‑18 month forecasts and global forecasts.
• Convert demand plans into physical orders, analysing incoming demand for exceptions and alignment with product strategy.
• Plan and schedule order timelines to meet customer requirements while minimising inventory and shipping costs.
• Prioritise delivery dates with product line, sales and service delivery teams, handling push‑outs and pull‑ins as needed.
• Perform material management analyses such as statistical consumption, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in‑transit material, and safety stock.
• Implement inventory stocking strategies and monitor safety stock, global and aging inventory, coordinating with regions and manufacturing plants.
• Work with AMO to capture spare parts and asset demands, ensuring they are included in the Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects to maximise value and process efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning, production planning or supply‑chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong ownership, proactive attitude, good communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in a high‑mix, make‑to‑order manufacturing setting, preferably in oil & gas services.
