Market Access Manager – Saudi National

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Market Access Manager based in Saudi Arabia to lead access and reimbursement initiatives for its pharmaceutical portfolio. The role involves developing strategies that ensure patients can access innovative therapies while aligning with AbbVie’s commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, payers, government agencies, and key opinion leaders to facilitate product access.
• Implement market access strategies, analyze reimbursement policies, and monitor competitive landscape to anticipate risks and opportunities.
• Lead pricing strategy development, conduct market analysis, and negotiate reimbursement terms with stakeholders.
• Drive health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) initiatives, including economic modeling, value dossier creation, and real‑world evidence generation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and disseminate value propositions internally and externally.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of Saudi market dynamics, pricing requirements, and reimbursement policies.
• Experience in developing market access strategies, pre‑launch and post‑launch readiness, and pharmacoeconomics/HTA.
• Strong business acumen with ability to manage complexity and interpret clinical and economic data.
• Post‑graduate degree in pharmacoeconomics, public health, or pharmaceutical pricing is a plus.
