About the role

The Mathematics Professor will deliver high‑quality instruction in foundational mathematics topics such as algebra, pre‑calculus, calculus, and statistics. This role supports diverse learners preparing for university‑level studies in Business, Engineering, and ICT fields.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver clear, well‑organized lessons in algebra, pre‑calculus, calculus and statistics.
• Utilise contemporary teaching methods and educational technology to enhance learning.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement of course content.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles.
• Provide individual support through office hours, academic advising, and pastoral care.
• Design, administer, and grade assessments, offering constructive feedback.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage in departmental meetings and professional development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the university preparatory or undergraduate level.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in algebra, pre‑calculus, and calculus.
• Fluency in English (written and oral) for teaching in an English‑medium environment.
