Mechanical Engineer – Design, Installation & Maintenance

About the role

The company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, install, and maintain mechanical systems for building projects across the Western Region. The role covers HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and elevator systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and calculate cooling loads for HVAC systems and produce related shop drawings.
• Provide field supervision for installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and elevator systems.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with electrical and civil contractors to ensure system integration.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and monitor subcontractor performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) license.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HAP software for cooling load calculations.
• AutoCAD for drafting and reading shop drawings.
• Design of air ducts, fire protection systems, water supply, sanitary and stormwater drainage.
• Pump selection and pressure loss calculations for water and fire‑fighting systems.
• Understanding of Building Management System (BMS) integration for energy control.
