Mechanical Engineer - Design

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineer – Design to join our engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role you will design, develop, and optimise mechanical components and systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to turn concepts into functional, manufacturable designs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering specifications.
• Conduct design analysis and simulations to evaluate performance, stress, and durability of components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and product teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost‑effective, and aligned with production capabilities.
• Select and analyse materials to optimise component performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Document design modifications, maintain organised design files, and support prototyping and testing phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering fundamentals, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with material selection and familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASME).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
