Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our industrial equipment. You will work on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support continuous improvement of our machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, power‑transmission and heavy‑duty mechanical systems.
• Assist in diagnosing faults such as bearing failures, hydraulic leaks, and gearbox issues on conveyors and mobile machinery.
• Contribute to projects that improve reliability, including component upgrades, lubrication programs and fabrication modifications.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout‑Tagout (LOTO), to maintain a zero‑harm environment.
• Document maintenance activities, equipment history and spare‑part usage in the CMMS.
• Participate in training on mechanical systems, welding techniques, vibration analysis and predictive maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and materials science.
• Hands‑on mindset with a strong desire to work with tools on the shop floor.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and curiosity about root‑cause analysis.
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow procedures.
• Adaptability to work in various industrial environments and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
