Medical Advisor – Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Advisor specialized in Oncology to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Riyadh. The role will drive scientific and medical activities, support product access, and act as a key liaison between internal teams and external experts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep scientific and medical expertise in oncology.
• Facilitate scientific exchange, provide medical information, and deliver clinical presentations.
• Respond to medical inquiries and support patients and formulary access in line with global and local policies.
• Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and relevant organisations.
• Support Marketing, Sales and Regulatory teams on scientific matters and deliver internal medical and sales training.
• Assist clinical research, Investigator Initiated Studies and observational studies following SOPs.
• Attend scientific meetings and conferences, preparing summaries, presentations or symposium materials.

Required profile

• Saudi national (Saudization requirement).
• Medical degree (MD), PharmD or equivalent life‑science qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in Oncology Medical Affairs.
• Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and the Saudi healthcare landscape.
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation abilities.
• Effective engagement skills with external experts and internal stakeholders.
