About the role
The Medical Science Liaison (Oncology) will serve as a scientific bridge between Johnson & Johnson and leading oncology specialists in Riyadh. Focusing on genitourinary cancers, the role involves peer‑to‑peer communication of product value, treatment trends, and clinical data to support the Medical Affairs plan.
Key responsibilities
- Stay current with medical and scientific developments in oncology, especially prostate and bladder cancers.
- Continuously update knowledge of company products, patient treatment trends, and ongoing clinical studies.
- Develop and maintain a network of leading specialists, including physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and scientific society board members.
- Understand the needs, treatment patterns, and scientific interests of key opinion leaders.
- Communicate the scientific value of company products and support internal teams with insights from the field.
- Participate in the planning and execution of scientific activities and clinical studies within the therapeutic area.
Required profile
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) in a life‑science discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in oncology or medical affairs, preferably with exposure to genitourinary cancers.
- Excellent scientific communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
