Medical Science Liaison – Riyadh

About the role

We are seeking a Saudi‑national Medical Science Liaison to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Riyadh. The role focuses on building scientific expertise, supporting healthcare professionals and facilitating the exchange of medical information in line with global and local policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific and medical knowledge of the company’s products.
• Facilitate scientific engagement and exchange with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and organisations.
• Deliver clinical presentations and respond to medical information requests.
• Provide medical support for patients and formulary access following established policies.
• Support the planning, implementation and reporting of medical activities.
• Back‑up Marketing, Sales and Regulatory teams on scientific and medical issues.
• Serve as a medical expert for internal training of medical and sales staff.
• Assist clinical research, investigator‑initiated studies and observational studies in accordance with SOPs.
• Attend scientific meetings and conferences and prepare summaries, presentations or symposium materials.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science (PharmD, PhD or MD).
• 1–2 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Availability for face‑to‑face interviews in Riyadh.
