Medical Science Liaison – Vaccine & Immune Therapy

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Vaccine & Immune Therapy will serve as a scientific bridge between AstraZeneca and key external experts across Saudi Arabia. Working in a non‑promotional capacity, the MSL will discuss disease areas, clinical data, and emerging scientific insights with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance and maintain relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) and non‑traditional stakeholders such as policy makers, payer groups, and government researchers.
• Identify, prioritize and expand the network of KEEs based on scientific expertise and influence on clinical practice.
• Gather actionable insights on local medical community trends, patient pathways, and gaps in scientific knowledge and relay them to the brand and medical teams.
• Map multidisciplinary teams within hospitals and institutions to support patient care pathways.
• Travel across assigned territories in Saudi Arabia to engage with healthcare professionals, institutions and vaccination‑related stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive scientific expertise in vaccine and immune therapy therapeutic areas.
• Experience engaging in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals and external experts.
• Ability to generate and communicate insights that shape medical and brand strategy.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Saudi Arabia.
