Mobile Application Developer

About the role

The Mobile Application Developer will design, develop and maintain mobile applications that power NEARMOTION’s smart-building and visitor-engagement platform. This full-time, on-site position in Riyadh focuses on delivering intuitive, location-based experiences for venue visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new features and optimise application performance across iOS and Android devices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring seamless data exchange.
• Maintain compatibility with multiple operating systems and device form factors.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the mobile development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong background in mobile application development with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design, testing and deployment practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team.

Required skills

• iOS development (Swift/Objective‑C) and relevant frameworks.
• Android development (Java/Kotlin) or cross‑platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON and backend integration.
• Version control using Git.
• Object‑oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
