Monitoring Survey Manager

About the role

The Monitoring Survey Manager will lead all survey and structural monitoring activities for the Riyadh Metro Project. This role ensures accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting for tunnels, stations, viaducts, depots, and surrounding infrastructure throughout construction and operation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement survey and monitoring strategies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks across the project corridor.
• Manage geodetic, topographic, deformation, settlement, and structural monitoring programmes.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of monitoring instruments and control points.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of survey engineers, monitoring engineers, surveyors, and technicians.
• Review and approve monitoring plans, technical reports, and results to ensure compliance with specifications and international standards.
• Analyze movement, settlement, and structural behaviour data, prepare dashboards and technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with construction, design, geotechnical, tunneling, civil, and rail teams, as well as client representatives and authorities.
• Implement quality assurance, safety procedures, and conduct audits of survey data and monitoring systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑scale infrastructure or metro projects, preferably in a supervisory or manager role.
• Strong knowledge of surveying, geodesy, and structural monitoring principles.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with HSE requirements and quality management systems.
