Network Engineer – Infrastructure & IT Operations

About the role

Albawani is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement and secure its enterprise network across multiple sites in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures high‑availability, scalable connectivity for corporate offices, remote locations and joint‑venture environments while collaborating with IT operations, cybersecurity and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN and wireless networks across the organization.
• Implement network segmentation, QoS policies and redundancy mechanisms such as HSRP and VRRP.
• Perform performance monitoring, tuning, capacity planning and root‑cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Maintain up‑to‑date network documentation, topology diagrams and IP schemas.
• Configure and manage firewalls, IPS, ACLs and other security controls in line with NCA, ISO 27001 and NIST standards.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors and system integrators for installations, upgrades and issue resolution.
• Support hybrid connectivity solutions for Azure and AWS and contribute to disaster‑recovery planning.
• Research emerging networking technologies and recommend cost‑optimisation measures.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of network engineering experience in medium to large enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering or a related field.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
• Proven experience with LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN and wireless technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security and national cybersecurity frameworks (NCA).
• Experience with cloud networking in Azure or AWS is highly desirable.
