Network Security Back Office Manager

About the role

The Network Security Back Office Manager will act as the subject‑matter expert for IT system security, providing Level‑3 support and overseeing escalation processes. You will work closely with front‑office and back‑office teams to ensure secure, reliable network operations for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT system security, delivering Level‑3 troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex incidents.
• Manage escalation pathways, coordinate with vendors (TSS) and internal teams to resolve security tickets.
• Review and approve changes and fault‑management processes, ensuring minimal service disruption.
• Monitor security incidents, harden system configurations, and produce detailed incident reports.
• Provide technical consultation for client onboarding and advise on remediation of latest vulnerabilities.
• Maintain expert knowledge of all deployed security technologies and platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in network security operations, preferably within a telecom environment.
• Industry‑recognized certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE, CISSP, MCSE or RHCSA are preferred.

Required skills

• Next‑generation firewalls: FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco FTD.
• Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Network Access Control (NAC), VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL, Dial‑up).
• Network Address Translation (NAT) and advanced routing.
• Endpoint security solutions: DLP, Antivirus, DAM, EDR, NDR, XDR.
• Web and email security, APT detection, sandboxing, SSL offloading, PKI.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, principles and incident response processes.
