NodeJS Backend Engineer

About the role

Colada, a leading Food & Beverage company in Riyadh, is looking for a NodeJS Backend Engineer to build and maintain high‑performance server‑side applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design robust APIs and help shape the architecture of our backend ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript and ExpressJS.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability, leveraging MongoDB for data storage.
• Ensure high scalability and reliability using Docker, Docker‑Compose, and AWS.

Required profile

• Proven experience with NodeJS and backend development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
