Onsite Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Onsite Engineer to provide full‑time supervision on our construction site. You will act as the eyes on the ground, ensuring that all work follows approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes while producing shop drawings when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction activities and verify compliance with architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Review contractors’ work quality, dimensions, materials, and installation methods; immediately flag and document any deviations.
• Develop, review, and issue shop drawings and construction details to resolve site conditions or clarify design intent.
• Coordinate between the design team, contractors, and project management; respond to RFIs.
• Attend site meetings and prepare daily/weekly progress reports with photos.
• Inspect and approve work stages before they are covered up (e.g., reinforcement, MEP rough‑ins, waterproofing).
• Maintain records of site instructions, variations, and as‑built changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 3–7 years of experience in on‑site construction supervision.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Detail‑oriented, assertive, and able to hold contractors accountable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit a plus) for producing shop drawings.
• Ability to create and review shop drawings.
