Operation Manager

About the role

You will be responsible for building and managing the end‑to‑end operations of our e‑commerce platform that sells construction materials. The role combines strategic thinking, execution excellence and leadership to ensure supply chain efficiency, logistics reliability and a great customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, onboard and manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and distributors of construction materials, negotiating pricing and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
• Design and implement efficient warehousing, inventory management and last‑mile delivery solutions, overseeing order fulfillment and timely, accurate deliveries.
• Develop processes for handling customer inquiries, returns and complaints to ensure a seamless post‑purchase experience that drives retention.
• Build and refine operational workflows, implement technology solutions such as ERP, inventory management and CRM systems, and continuously analyse KPIs to optimise performance.
• Recruit, train and lead operations teams across supply chain, logistics and customer support, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain or logistics, preferably in e‑commerce, construction or building materials.
• Proven track record of scaling operations for an online marketplace or B2B platform.
• Experience negotiating with vendors, managing inventory and optimising fulfillment processes.
