Operations Team Lead, Inbound

About the role

As an Operations Team Lead for inbound processes, you will be the first point of contact for team members on the floor, ensuring that daily workflows run smoothly and that performance targets are met. This hands‑on position gives you exposure to the tools and systems that keep Amazon’s fulfillment network efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, monitor and report on workflow performance across shifts.
• Provide shift information to frontline management to maintain operational excellence.
• Support, train and supervise employees in their daily tasks.
• Assist the Shift/Area Manager with projects aimed at process improvement, safety, and workforce engagement.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve common issues and support key performance areas.
• Use data analysis to identify opportunities to optimise safety, quality and productivity.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience creating metrics reports, analysing data and explaining findings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
