Operator – Blown Film Extrusion

About the role

We are looking for an Operator to support the Quality Inspector and ensure that our blown‑film products meet all specifications. The role involves setting up and running extrusion lines, handling raw materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Inspector and verify product conformity with finished‑goods specifications.
• Maintain line cleanliness during shifts and at month‑end.
• Complete and submit daily production reports to the Production Team Leader.
• Set up machines, perform size changes, and adjust parameters.
• Handle raw material receipt, return, and storage between warehouses.
• Communicate any machine issues to the Lead Operator and Line Setter.
• Ensure pallets, waste bins, trolleys and raw materials are stored in designated locations.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and participate in HSE toolbox talks.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in blown film extrusion, preferably with PE films (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE).
• Experience operating mono‑layer or multi‑layer extrusion lines on machines such as Kiefel, W&H, Alpine or Bandera.
• Technical diploma or equivalent industrial background.
• Good awareness of safety, quality requirements, SOPs and production documentation.

Required skills

• Blown film extrusion operation.
• Processing of LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE resins.
• Operation of Kiefel, W&H, Alpine, Bandera extrusion lines.
• Control of extrusion parameters (temperature, pressure, output, bubble stability, thickness, film width, winding).
• Raw‑material blending knowledge (PE resin grades, masterbatch, additives).
