About the role
The Optician will assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their visual and lifestyle needs while driving sales and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience in a retail showroom.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, assess visual requirements and lifestyle preferences.
- Recommend appropriate frames, lenses and optical solutions and explain product features, pricing and promotions.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Process sales transactions and provide basic after‑sales support.
- Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or certification in Optical Technology or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in an optical lab or retail optical environment.
- Ability to accurately read and execute optical prescriptions.
- High attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Strong sales, communication and customer‑service skills.
- Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
Required skills
- Reading and interpreting optical prescriptions.
- Knowledge of optical products and lens technologies.
