Patient Safety Partner – Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (Back‑Up)

About the role

The Patient Safety Partner will support the implementation, maintenance and oversight of Roche’s local pharmacovigilance (PV) system in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the affiliate’s safety function, the role ensures compliance with global Roche standards and Saudi regulatory requirements while safeguarding the company’s license to operate.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Local QPPV Deputy in Saudi Arabia, overseeing safety‑related activities for the pharmacovigilance system.
• Prepare and submit individual case safety reports, aggregate safety reports and conduct signal detection/management for local products.
• Maintain pharmacovigilance agreements, risk management plans, safety communications and the local PV Master File.
• Support safety risk‑management and launch readiness activities, ensuring compliance with Roche global standards and Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to shaping national PV regulations and engage with external stakeholders on safety insights.

Required profile

• Degree in a healthcare‑related discipline (e.g., PharmD, Pharmacy).
• Licensed pharmacist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, preferably in an affiliate setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes, regulations and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with signal detection, risk management and safety communication.
